Meet Dexter

Science Junkies now has an official mascot! His name is Dexter and he is our Mad Scientist in residence. Dexter’s (and Science Junkie’s) motto is “Science is Sweet!”
Dexter first turned up on a birthday cake created for us by Susie G’s for our recent Science Party. We had also wanted some cool science-themed cookies for our event but quickly discovered that cookie cutters shaped like atoms, test tubes, molecules and the like are not commercially available. Rather than give up, we did what any self respecting scientist would do - we created our own science cookie cutters!
We used the Cookie Cutter Crafting Kit
Pictured above are all of the finished cookie designs. The “cookieologists” at Susie G’s sure know what they’re doing!
