Upcoming NatGeo Special takes Viewers on a Cosmic Tour
By Linda | November 18, 2008
I know what we’ll be watching on Sunday, December 7th…
Journey to the Edge of the Universe, a co-production with Discovery Canada, is a two-hour film by Pioneer Productions that was made entirely using CGI technology.
The film uses breathtaking photographs taken from the Hubble space telescope to create stunning visual sequences.
Based on cutting-edge scientific research, the film starts from Earth and ventures to the distant reaches of the universe, explaining in detail what exists outside the solar system.
Specifically, the journey explores the science and history behind each of the celestial bodies in the solar system and neighbouring galaxies, stretching from the Big Bang and into the future.
